This customer has turned a midtown home into a working model of sustainability, by retrofitting it with both solar PV and solar hot water, and using rainwater and greywater for most outdoor water needs. The fruit produced by these rainwater-fed citrus trees serves as a delicious, local, sustainable treat for this resident, friends and family.
This house has a flat roof with scuppers all along one side. TFS was able to capture rainwater runoff from the entire roof by attaching header boxes (thumbnails below) that direct water to a rainhead screen and then into the cistern.
