Community Involvement

Technicians For Sustainability believes that living our mission involves being active in our local Tucson and southern Arizona community. We are always willing to speak with local groups about sustainability, water catchment, and solar power. Please see our upcoming events list for where you can find us. If you have a group who would be interested in a presentation, please contact us and we will see how we can help.

Solar Grant For Non-Profits

Technicians For Sustainability is glad to be able to offer an annual grant for non-profit organizations who are interested in adding solar systems to their buildings.  Once a year we offer both a matching solar grant and a full solar grant. Congratulations to our 2010 grant recipient,  KXCI Community Radio! The 2011 grant application deadline is March 1st, 2011.  More information, as well as the application form, can be found in the following link: Grant form

Customer Referral Program

We believe in what we do, and we know you do, too! Solar provides enormous benefits for the environment and your wallet, but it’s also great for our community. Do you know someone who is interested in going solar? Each time you send us a referral that results in a new TFS customer, we’ll make $100 donation, in your name, to your favorite local non-profit (must be registered as a 501c3).

Do you have a referral? Click here to fill out our customer referral form. For a brief listing of local non-profits working hard to make Southern Arizona a great place to live, please click here.
