Want to grow an abundant and beautiful winter garden in Tucson this year, but don’t know where to begin? Look no further! Native Seeds/SEARCH presents a workshop designed to equip you with the knowledge, inspiration and the desert-hardy seeds you need to grow the winter garden of your dreams!

Flor de Mayo Arts owner and NS/S Board Member Martha Burgess will walk you through the basics of winter gardening in our Southwestern desert environment. Learn the tricks of our Tucson-specific seasonal gardening: soil prepping, planting, attracting native pollinators, composting, mulching and more. Empower yourself to grow your own veggies in your backyard and enjoy Tucson’s incredible year-round growing season!
