These East Tucson residents decided to install a solar hot water system because it will be more cost effective over time than standard water heating. They enjoyed working with Technicians for Sustainability, because the installation crew was "prompt and clean and the installation process was really quick." They also appreciated that the staff "took time to explain everything." The favorite aspect of their new solar electric system is knowing that they don't have to pay to heat their water. In addition to a solar hot water system, these homeowners have also installed a photovoltaic system, greywater, rainwater harvesting and solar skylights.
