This customer makes the most of their rooftop catchment area by using three cisterns, giving them a total storage capacity of what they will receive in about 4" of rain. A floating tank gauge (above) was installed on one tank to provide a quick view of current rainwater supply. Underground infiltration chambers were used on the overflow of one tank to provide additional short-term capacity underground.

This site offers a working model of sustainable living by also using laundry greywater for landscape irrigation and having both solar PV and solar hot water systems.
