We're different at Technicians for Sustainability (TFS). And we're looking for individuals with a demonstrated commitment to high quality work and sustainability to join our inspired team as a Residential Sales Representative in the Tucson area.
We are seeking a dynamic people-person to join our residential solar sales team. This is a person with the unique combination of technical and communication skills able to guide customers and help them find the right solar solution for their home.
Responsibilities:
Sales of residential solar electric and storage systems
Conduct home site visits and evaluations, including analysis of customers' current and projected electrical usage, and financial return on investment
Guide potential customers to the solar and storage solutions to best meet their goals
Calculate and design appropriate system for customer goals
Present customers with sales proposals and provide additional information as necessary
Communicate with TFS Team regarding system designs and details
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction of product and process
Log all communications with customers in contact database
Develop leads through solar advocacy and community outreach opportunities
Skills:
Communicate information effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to connect with potential customers in a meaningful way
Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization and attention to detail
Excellent follow-through and time management skills
Interested in a long-term career in the solar industry
Ability to sell a premium product in a competitive marketplace
Strong spatial visualization skills
Experience performing financial calculations (ROI, IRR, NPV, etc...) preferred
Working knowledge of construction practices, including familiarity with NEC, and ability to read/understand electrical, structural, and mechanical plans preferred
General understanding of electricity and electrical systems
Comfort with on-site evaluations that involve analysis of home structure, mechanical systems, and roof-top data collection preferred
Ability to solve problems and find creative solutions
Clean driving record
