"I’m part of the Commercial Solar team at TFS, working with customers to turn their solar dream into a reality. My background is in chemical engineering and nonprofit work. Between the technical aspect of our work, and the mission driven culture at TFS, there's no better combination for me.

Clean energy is a collective force and involves the community coming together for each other and for future generations. Working in solar is incredibly rewarding; not only are we paving the way with renewable energy, but we are paving the way for other women in the tech industry."

"I work in TFS’s data monitoring department, remotely monitoring customers’ systems to ensure they are producing solar energy.

My background is in environmental research and sustainability, utilizing big data and satellite images to monitor agricultural dynamics. At TFS, I wake up everyday knowing I work in a company that aids in creating a better future for the planet. Working for clean energy allows me to see real world application of renewable energy for a more sustainable human existence."

"I work at TFS as part of a two person team to make sure that the financial side of the company runs smoothly. Every day I get to work with passionate, caring, good people who are leaving the world a better place than we found it and building community at the same time.

It would be great to have more women solar installers, but there are also many different varieties of jobs that support the installers. We all work together to make the world a better place, one roof at a time."

"As a member of the Commercial Solar Team, every day is different, which I love.

Before joining TFS, I spent more than a decade in commercial project management. I loved a lot about the construction industry yet wanted to be involved in a facet that was focused on sustainability. Being part of a windfarm project checked this box, but did not afford time for life beyond. Then I found solar at TFS, who supports sustainability and balance at and outside of work.

It’s satisfying to be part of a collective effort to improve our environment and world; it feels like putting positive energy, that isn't primarily monetarily focused, back into the stream of life. Knowing TFS seeks to employ people and work with clients who share similar values inspires me in my work."

"The people are what brought me into this work; the customers and my co-workers. I was excited when I saw the impact that solar and a mission-driven business could have on individual people's lives. My job is to make sure people have what they need to thrive in their work.

You don't have to be technically-minded to work in this industry. I've worked in solar for nearly 15 years and don't have a particular affinity or aptitude for the technical, like some of the women I work with do. There is still an important place in solar for me, where I can contribute and feel satisfaction in the work I do each day."
