Antigone Books
Antigone Books, located on Tucson’s historic 4th Avenue, has become the first bookstore in the country to get 100% of their electricity from solar power.
Bookmans Sports Exchange
Our friends at Bookmans Entertainment Exchange and Bookmans Sports are always looking for ways to reduce their environmental footprint: Their solar system, installed at Bookmans Sports Exchange by TFS, helps offset 200,000 lbs of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere every year.
The Prime Leaf
The Prime Leaf is generating 100%+ of their electrical needs from the sun as Arizona's first solar-powered dispensary.
Entertainment & Activity
Loft Cinema
After previously working with TFS to create a solar powered mobile cinema van, the Loft is now harnessing the sun with a new 95kW system that will provide shaded parking for guests of the theater while generating 150,000kWh’s of clean energy annually.
Old Pueblo Gym
Old Pueblo Gymnasium, which is dedicated to getting children excited about physical activity, has a new 34.8 kW solar energy system - enough electricity to cover 90% of the gymnasium’s usage, offer the gym substantial financial savings and help them protect the environment. In 2017, TFS installed an additional 13.08 kW of solar to expand Old Pueblo's capacity.
KXCI
The first solar powered radio station in Southern Arizona, KXCI reduces their electric bill by approximately $100 per month while delivering their programming to the people of Tucson.
Historic Y
The Historic Y began producing energy from the sun in February 2017, viewing their switch to solar as an investment in the future, not only for The Historic Y, but for the planet.
Four Points Hotel
Four Points have gone solar, reducing their energy expenses and environmental footprint with a new 371kW system. Consisting of both shade structures and ground mounted modules, Four Points' solar system will annually offset 1,470,021 lbs of CO2.
